Postby apex on Wed Oct 14, 2009 11:21 am

Some quick stuff, attached PDF is from 30 minute drive to work (in the rain :( )
Temps are as folows:
Black, Ambient
Red, Pre IC
Green, post IC
Yellow, boost
Blue, RPM
Some pics of the install:
3057:Evo 4 mounting
3056:Evo 4 closeup
3049:Dash install

Left to do: swap out grey mounts for red (on order), catch can and Letsla shifter...
Still have toe mods, bushings and ss lines, that may wait until a bit...
Had fun, time to drive!!!

Nope, I don't like the limitations of the AIM displays, no color, limited display options ect...

For some reason the boost data scale on the right hand side is off, peak boost on that run per the logger data was 9PSI, this is post IC BTW...

Yup, just looking for what I paid for! Damn happy with the setup, and the IC seems to be doing it's job as well.
Just need some dry roads now, the irony is that up until today it's been clear and very nice for this time of year in the PNW...

It's an optical pollution gentleman!, it's all 3m foam taped wiremold with the backyard rattle can treatment.
http://www.wiremold.com/diy/products/ch ... cord_cover for the horizontal run and
http://www.wiremold.com/diy/products/ch ... ic_raceway (wire channel) for the bits that feed the light and motion sensor.
It's light, easy to work with and paints well, and even up close you can't tell it's not an extrusion.
The cabin light was cut into a radioshack project box, and the whole back area taped off and sprayed with some weird ass black rubber based paint that I got at Lowes.

Thanks for noticing, that work took longer than installing the SC!
And yes Frank, we're moving to Socal next year, and I would love to do the same for you!

Plastic, on a Lotus?! :) Just kidding, looks great. Guessing that you removed the tape from the cluster of wires and flattened the whole mess to fit?

HomeDepot stocks the wire covers, if someone wants this locally.

Yup, I have a before pic I'll post tonight, and yea Lowes/Homedespot both have the wiremold in stock.
Yea, I had to get over the initial "I'm going to wiremold my Lotus?", but the solution seemed too elegant to dismiss as my stupid rear panel with gaping speakerless holes that needs to be removed to get the clam off, and can't be removed without removing the frigging seats... Well that had to go.

Exactly why I removed my rear firewall cover, too much work for access. The wire moulding looks great and a nice benefit is the cover snaps off should you need access.
